Awesome MP

Anytime you need a fat tone with major projection, the vintage Berg Larsen is for you. I'm presently using a 110-1. I have found that the 110-2 creates a good blend, however it sacrifices some projection. Highs are crystal clear.

A great mouthpiece providing multi-level flexibility for experienced players. This mouthpiece is controllable in multiple genres and a wide range of settings. With the proper reed you can get round and luscious subtones for soulful & romantic ballads to bright edge-cutting clarity to give the power you need when playing with electric guitars, keyboards, & drums in a lively performance. If you like players like Gato Barbieri, Lenny Pickett (SNL band & Tower of Power), Eric Marienthal, Sonny Rollins, and several more, then this mouthpiece just might be what you're look for. I use a 105/2 SMS for combo jazz ensemble work and a 120/0 M for solo pop/rock band work on my Yamaha Custom 875 (silver plated) tenor & a 95/1 M on my Yamaha Custom 875 alto (also silver plated). These pieces play in tune across the octaves of both saxes.
